MY GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER
This is a picture of GEORGE FYE he was a farmer and a school director in the Salix school system. He was born in Salix,Cambria Co.,PA. He was born in 1841 and died in 1909. He married SARAH ANNA DAVIS in 1866 which I have a copy of his marriage certificate. His daughter ELIZABETH JANE FYE (AKA JENNIE) (my great great grandmother) was born in 1866 died in 1911 from TB. She married JOHN WILLIAM SMAY in 1898. Their daughter MINNIE OLIVE SMAY was born in 1902 and died in 1974. She married MORGAN R. CARNEY born in 1898 and died in 1986. Their daughter RUTH MARY CARNEY married WILLIAM ROY BOWERS, JR. Their daughter SHARON RUTH CARNEY was born in 1950 and died in 1992. Then we come to me ROBERT SCOTT BOWERS.
